During quarantine, most people have been spending more time in front of electronic screens such as phones, laptops, and televisions. The prolonged use of these electronic devices puts a strain on our eyes leading to eye discomfort and vision problems. One way to reduce this eye fatigue is by following the 20-20-20 rule. Every 20 minutes of electronic screen use, take a 20-second break by looking at an object at least 20 feet away. By following this rule, you’ll remember to take frequent breaks and reduce your eye strain.
